Entry Specifications

All data used to generate the Billboard JAPAN Hot 100 is aggregated within the Aggregation Period and totaled for each song. Among catalog songs released more than ten years ago, the top 50 songs that did not rank within the top 300 of the Billboard JAPAN Hot 100 2024 year end chart are selected as entry works.

※Only songs by domestic artists are eligible.

First Voting Period

Domestic Voting Members may vote on a voluntary basis.

Each member must vote for 2 to 5 entries from the list of Entry Works.

※Self-selection is permitted, but duplicate selections are not allowed.

Final Voting Period

Domestic Voting Members may vote on a voluntary basis.

Each voter will rank up to three works from among the nominees. Points will be allocated as follows. First place 4 points, second place 2 points, third place 1 point.

※Voters may rank up to three works and may choose to rank fewer than three.

※Self selection is permitted and duplicate selections are not allowed.

※If multiple songs by the same artist are nominated, the number of nominated works will be expanded until five different artists are represented.

Artists, creators involved in lyrics, composition, and arrangement, producers, recording engineers, mixing engineers, mastering engineers, musicians, directors, managers, and A&R representatives.
