Entry Specifications

Up to 45 works are selected as Entry Works, consisting of 15 works selected based on aggregated viewership data from Video Research Ltd. and annual rankings from d Anime Store and U-NEXT (quantitative selection), combined with qualitative selections from domestically produced anime works first released in 2025.

For the qualitative selection, up to 15 works are recommended by member publishers of the Music Publishers Association of Japan, and up to 15 works are recommended by experts in film scoring.

First Voting Period

Domestic Voting Members may vote on a voluntary basis.

Each member must vote for 2 to 5 entries from the list of Entry Works.

※Self-selection is permitted, but duplicate selections are not allowed.

Final Voting Period

Domestic Voting Members may vote on a voluntary basis.

Each voter will rank up to three works from among the Nominees. Points will be allocated as follows. First place 4 points, second place 2 points, third place 1 point.

※Voters may rank up to three works and may choose to rank fewer than three.

※Self selection is permitted and duplicate selections are not allowed.

Soundtrack creators including composers, arrangers, and score writers.
