

Domestic jazz albums released during the aggregation period are listed based on global streaming data compiled by Luminate. The top 40 albums are selected, with an additional 10 albums chosen by the Jazz Special Selection Committee, resulting in a total of 50 Entry Works.

In addition to the Domestic Voting Members, Jazz Special Voting Members will also participate in the voting.
Voting by Domestic Voting Members is voluntary, while all Jazz Special Voting Members are required to vote.
Each member must vote for 2 to 5 entries from the list of Entry Works.
Self selection is permitted and duplicate selections are not allowed.
Jazz Special Voting Members will be selected by the MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN Basic Design Committee from among jazz musicians or artists, critics or writers, media representatives or editors, record companies or labels, retailers, live music venues, promoters, DJs or selectors, and other related professionals.
In addition to the Domestic Voting Members, Jazz Special Voting Members will also participate in the voting.
Voting by Domestic Voting Members is voluntary, while all Jazz Special Voting Members are required to vote.
Each voter will rank up to three works from among the Nominees. Points will be allocated as follows. First place 4 points, second place 2 points, third place 1 point.

※If multiple albums by the same artist are nominated, the number of nominated works will be expanded until five different artists are represented.
