Entry Specifications

This category is presented in collaboration with JDDA (Japan Dance Music & DJ Association).

Dance / Electronic songs released between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025 are extracted based on data from the Spotify playlists “Electropolis,” “Altar JP,” and “mint japan.” These songs are then re-aggregated by GfK / NIQ Japan, and the top 50 songs by DSP streams in Japan during the same period are designated as Entry Works.

First Voting Period

All Special Voting Members for Dance/Electronic, selected by JDDA (Japan Dance Music & DJ Association), are required to vote.

Each member must vote for 2 to 5 entries from the list of Entry Works.

※Self-selection is permitted, but duplicate selections are not allowed.

※The Special Voting Members for Dance/Electronic will be selected by JDDA from among musicians, DJs, media representatives, and industry experts.

Final Voting Period

In addition to the Domestic Voting Members, Dance and Electronic Special Voting Members selected by JDDA Japan Dance Music and DJ Association will also participate in the voting.
Voting by Domestic Voting Members is voluntary, while all Dance and Electronic Special Voting Members are required to vote.

Each voter will rank up to three works from among the nominees. Points will be allocated as follows. First place 4 points, second place 2 points, third place 1 point.

※Voters may rank up to three works and may choose to rank fewer than three.

※Self selection is permitted and duplicate selections are not allowed.

※If multiple songs by the same artist are nominated, the number of nominated works will be increased until five different artists are represented.

Winners

Artists, creators involved in lyrics, composition, and arrangement, producers, recording engineers, mixing engineers, mastering engineers, musicians, directors, managers, and A&R representatives.
