In accordance with the Entry Works / Entry Artist selection methodology, all songs that ranked on any of the seven indicators — the six Billboard JAPAN Hot 100 metrics (Radio, CD Sales, Downloads, Streaming, Music Video, and Karaoke) plus Top User Generated Songs — are compiled for each period.
From the songs listed in each period, dance & vocal songs (group / solo) that meet the eligibility requirements are selected, with up to 50 songs extracted per period.
After all seven periods have concluded, the songs extracted from each period are combined and ranked by points. Duplicate entries are removed by retaining only the highest point total for each song, and the top 50 songs are designated as Entry Works.
※Only songs by domestic artists are eligible.
